Doshi-Kai Ko-Budo – 道志会古武道
Bo-Jutsu is the fundamental weapon and it stands alone from other weapons. It has been said by old masters that Bo-Jutsu is one of the wheels of a cart and Karate is the other, meaning that their techniques and philosophy complement each other. We must train Bo-Jutsu to perfect Karate and vice versa. At Doshi-Kai, we don’t just go over basic Bo techniques and Kata superficially. Rather, we go into the details of each basic technique, utilize it and make it work. The Bo Kumite, as well as Bunkai, are the essentials of our Bo-Jutsu training. Techniques in Bo-Jutsu are very profound and can serve as the basic foundation for all martial arts. This is an art that is worth pursuing as a life time project, as well as Karate.

Bo Class III (Bo-Jutsu and Basic Sai-Jutsu)
At this session, the more advanced Bo Kumite and the basic Sai-Jutsu will be taught.

Participants in the full class must have experience in Bo-Jutsu Kihon and Kumite.
Beginners will be taught in their own class at that time.

* Participants should prepare a sturdy Bo, such as oak, to avoid breakage and a Sai.
